Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
I am currently having 52 months of work experience in 5 different jobs (including my current job) out of which 2 are internships about 16months. In the next 6 months or so I am planing to get into one of the FAANG companies (extra A is Apple). I have done very well in all of my jobs, even the internships, in which I got offers but did not take as they were lower. And of course every new job TC is more than the previous one. But now I am planing to get a very high TC and stay in the company for around 4 years at least. 1) Does anyone know if it will be an issue with these many job changes? 2) Will there be any questions asked regarding that and how important is this factor at FAANG? Thanks Update: 1st internship in my bachelors and 1st Fulltime job after my bachelors an then I did my Masters and 2nd Internship is while I am doing Masters and this is my 2nd Fulltime job after my Masters.
Who counts work experience in months? 52 months?? Wtf
I do, what’s wrong?
Would do better to count in days
"52 months of work experience in 5 different jobs" Are you a new parent too?
NOOOOO... Not sure where this is coming from??
Bahahaha the fact that OP doesnt understand is making it 10x more hilarious
I had to Leetcode just to figure out this experience in months phenomenon Why are you trying to trick the recruiters by adding your internships and counting things in months instead of years? Our recruiters are paid pretty penny and will see right through stuff like this.
This ^^^
I think they do care. During 2018, i worked for 3 companies. While interviewing this year by 2 conpanies from FAANG they both asked me why those changes. And yes, you better be prepared and have a god damn good answer to that.
First, once you have some real full time experience, nobody cares about internships. So really you've spent 36 months at 3 companies? Some companies will care. Many will at least ask about it and you should have a good answer that shows you'll likely stick around in the new role.
