Got an offer to Facebook to be an analyst. Received an RFE status two days ago. Reached out to HR and lawyer but no reply. 1. Is it possible for Facebook to take back the offer due to longer wait ( being a little paranoid)? 2. How long does the lawyers normally take to prepare a response to the RFE? Thanks
what is RFE?
RFE stands for request for evidence. They want Facebook and/or me to provide additional evidence to support the transfer
Got it. Thanks for the kindness
I highly doubt if they will rescind the offer. I got an offer from them in March and my transfer is still in progress(got an rfe). They normally are ready to wait.
Wow hope you got approved soon. Did you have premium processing ? Are the lawyers making you wait ?
I received ty he rfe on 1st May. The lawyers sent the reply to USCIS on 3rd July. Waiting for a decision🤞🏻
Is it for a H1B, O1 or GC? Got an offer from Facebook as well and in the middle of a O1 application (well, the lawyers are preparing my petition). My recruiter said it's quite common and that they are ready to wait. Everyone at Facebook seems pretty chill about it, if that can reassure you.
Congrats to you. It’s a H1B. The lawyers have replied and given me a timeline. Hopefully the hiring manager is good with waiting. Wish you good luck as well :)
Fingers crossed and good luck to you too. :-)
An update on my question. Got an estimate timeline. HR is communicating the timeline with internal team. Hope hiring manager is ok with the wait. Thanks for all your help and comments :)
Update on my question : FB did not take it back :) going through RFE now
Congrats! :-)
Did the RFE end up going through op?
