Sorry for the stupid question, but bear with me. Google "knows" you and everything you're searching for. They own your browser, search history, cookies, Drive, Mail, your Android phone and everything else. Do they track their employees to see if they are looking for opportunities elsewhere? Have you heard of such horror stories? I see this is easily achievable technically because they are already doing it for Ads. But morally isn't correct. What do you think? TC: 28 Lakhs Exp: 3
Yes everything
Yes and no. They used to do proactive analytics to retain top talent. And would detect oddities in badge data..etc to see which high value employees are looking elsewhere. Today it’s too large a company to care about that handful of ppl. I doubt they look at this at an employee level. Instead, the Csuite probably reviews trends to gage employee health/morale
Thanks for the insight. Are you saying they would rely on check-ins and employee time spends to detect if they were not interested anymore? Seems like a bad approach over just flagging profiles as employees and getting a learning model to understand from their searches and mails.
Issues with data privacy in different jurisdictions can make this difficult in some locales.
Google knows everything. I’m kidding, of course.
