Hey, I'm looking for PM roles in Seattle. Does T-Mobile's Product & Technology org hire people on Visa (OPT/H1-B) at all? I heard it's restricted recently but saw they hire students on visas as interns - don't know if that's still applicable and if it applies to full-timers. #workvisa # #h1b #opt #tmobile #pm #2020
They generally do but I think they stopped at the moment
Yep, they've stopped now.
They are no more offering H1B visa or transfers
Have you heard about OPT? I heard they won't need to pay for that
HR rejected my rack and advised to hire with no visa sponsor or transfers. I am not sure about OPT after graduation it’s temporary and there is no point hire temp and train them , if we know will hard to secure visa in future .
Generally they do but given the current uncertainty around the rules they are avoiding at least new visa but I have heard that they are still pursuing transfers for the right candidate.
Same experience. Tried getting someone on visa on my team. I was told unless really crucial avoid
One of my team mate is on visa and got transferred to t-mobile recently
Visa is a last resort.
T mobile majorly hires from different consultancy so yes definitely H1B
It definitely hires on visa
T-Mobile hires people on visa...I doubt P&T follow a different set of rules but it is possible
