Does anyone know what robotic engineer interview like at Cruise/Waymo?
Hi, i am looking for interview information as a robotics control engineer but couldnt find any. Is there any robotic control engineer here? what are the interview questions like in company like Cruise/Waymo? thanks in advance!
I interviewed for Motion Planning engineer at both.
Both has 1 phone interview round, leetcode question. Then onsite.
Waymo interview is very Google-like. There was brief discussion of experiences, but I don't think they even evaluate those. Pretty much 5 leetcode questions, but many were on graph and tree, which might have been specializing for planning?
Cruise had one or two round of leetcode, one round of code review/coding knowledge, one round on robotic knowledge (which wasn't specific to the role I was interviewing) and one behavior round.
