Had phone interview with amazon. I used chime on my laptop and it just didn't work. They don't have a native client for Linux. So have to go with webapp. It work on my phone with low audio and Interviewer told me he wants me to use laptop. FML. And you can't check if that webapp is working on your laptop until you are in an actual meeting. OS: Arch Linux Browser: Whatever latest version of Chrome Hardware: Old ThinkPad
It works on MacOS - if it's of any help?
Use wine on Linux to run .exe
I’m pretty sure I did my chime interview in the browser on ubuntu linux
Linux is great for development. But when it comes to these proprietary software I tend to not trust those companies to spend time on making bug free versions of the apps. For gods sake photoshop still has no Linux app!
I guess that's Adobe's money maker. They'd be shooting themselves in the foot by making a Linux app.
Webapp works on Chromium
F******g piece of garbage software.. it froze 6 times in the Amazon onsite interview. Had 2 rounds with folks in Seattle
Chime is garbage. We all think so internally as well. Edit - I shouldn't say "we all." More correctly, a large amount of employees can't stand chime, or the many other internally developed tools we are forced to use.

Not at Amazon, but you might want to list out what you’re running: OS, browser, hardware.
Seems like you take a lot of bug reports. Edited in post.
