Does it help if we mention we are currently working as a contractor with the same company that we are interviewing for?

Hi, I joined a company last week as a contractor and am interviewing for the same company as a Full Time Employee for a different location. Does it help I should mention my contractor role or does it reduce any chances for not mentioning it.

I dont think they do yet. Further in interview process should I mention?

I would avoid mentioning it. If they know you are already willing to work for much less why bring you full time?

thats a huge legal liability if they don't.

A huge liability if a company doesn't convert a contractor to full time? lol That's not a thing...

At Microsoft they'd already know. Not sure at Amazon, but I'd assume they know.

Don't bother. You will be rejected for the role and be terminated from your contract leaving you with nothing.
