Does recruiters and companies like Blind? because after Blind the TC range is no longer a secret and it is very had for a recruiter to low ball you. Before Blind, there was only Glassdoor, which is not very accurate.
What if I told you recruiters don't like lowballing candidates? As a matter of fact, they'd prefer to pay as high as possible to get an offer acceptance because that's how their performance is graded.
The question should change to “how does HR feel about Blind?”
HR is probably not aware it exists since many still think their monitor is "where the computer lives"
Recruiters have very little say in compensation. It is typically set by a compensation team within a company.
Maybe for internal recruiters. External (agency) have a big impact on compensation offers.
I think it saves recruiters time dealing with candidates trying to negotiate when the candidates know if their demands are reasonable... It's not their $, they just want to close the deal.
🤷 Recruiters are not paying compenation out of their pocket.
