I have an offer from zoox and should i negotiate on stocks or salary? Base $150k and 25k shares How far is zoox from even thinking about ipo?
What’s the value of the 25k shares? Most AV companies will have good futures I think. Automakers aren’t good at that stuff, they’ll partner with the Zooxes of the world. Still, you need a competitive base, so don’t let them sell you too much on the stock.
After series b they are valued at 11$ . I feel a lot of partnerships with car makers and av companies are already done. So dont know if that rsu will ever be of any value
From what my friends at Lyft and Uber say, it’s still early days of AV. I think there’s still time for viable AV companies to find a payout. Your hiring team can probably give you better intel on liquidity events than non @zoox
Also considering to interview with them soon. Did they say anything more about the shares? Are those RSUs or options and what's the current valuation of them respectively? How many YoE do you have?
Yes they are rsu vesting over 4 years. 25% after 1 year and remaining vests monthly. After their series b last year the shares are valued at 11$. I have 3 yoe
What role is this for?
Congrats for the offer!
No but zooy should be fine.
