Three separate times this month, i ordered food from Doordash and it never got delivered (this is after i see the dasher “1 min away” on the app). Today, i placed an escalation with customer service, and the manager verbatim tells me “im not going to give you any credit, who’s to know if youre not keeping the food yourself, what else can i help u with”. I generally spend $1000+ per month on doordash and this interaction broke the camel’s back. Screw you, DoorDash. Hello, Ubereats.

I literally never have any issues with Uber Eats.
2019 was the year when I said FU to all three.
This is my new workflow. If the restaurant has their own ordering system, I use that. If not, order pickup from doordash. And if for some reason I can't go out, only then I order delivery.
