Who has pushed off chasing a dream for a significant amount of time so they could grind in tech and get the money they need to fulfill other responsibilities? Do you regret it? Who has chased a dream even though you could have taken a high paying tech job and it meant potentially leaving yourself and others in a bad position? Do you regret it? I did. Put my life in the hands Of a rock n roll band Who threw it all away
I had put my tech career on slow track to pursue Aviation. Guess you need to decide what you want
Me. Moved from a creative industry to finance. Trying to get into tech. I don’t regret it because I went to grad school and the loans weren’t going to pay themselves. I am super creative but also super logical. I am basically debt free and I’d be stuck, making a lot less. I can fulfill my dreams whenever I want really...and have the cushion of a decent job. Trying to break into tech to make even more to fund dreams and investments. The beauty of the internet is that I have so much more flexibility to do what I want, where I want, in ways I wouldn’t have been able to 5-10 years ago.
I sympathize with what you said. I am one of the luck ones that dreamt about building successful AI products, and that my responsibilities got taken care of when I pursue my dreams
Working a tech job didn't stop me from chasing my dreams. Do both at the same time
