I was shopping for a suit today but then I randomly read here that people wear jeans for Amazon interviews?? I was always under the impression that even if the attire is business casual, just lose the tie. I’m really puzzeled about what to wear now. I’m thinking blazer+dress shirt+jeans?
Only undies
I’m a bar raiser at amazon. We don’t care. Just don’t be smelly, don’t wear pajamas, and don’t wear anything political. All of those are valid data points for an interviewer’s decision to be not-inclined. Please just wear what you’re expecting to wear daily if you are hired.

I got interviewed by a guy in Birkenstock’s and a tshirt. I watched people walk in and out in flip flops. I was wearing jeans, dress shoes, and a button up and I was was overdressed. Your mileage may vary.
Clean jeans, button up, brown belt, brown slip on shoes. Easy peasy.
Banana suit
Do not wear a suit!
Also, what position are you interviewing for?

Who/where/why would you not wear a suit/blazer/etc...? You care about your future and are invested...
I think you need to take a look at the current tech landscape. Sure, dressing nice is a good thing, but wearing something that you won’t wear day to day is unnecessary and kind of a sign of insecurities to me tbh. Wear what’s is comfortable and confidence building, anything else is going to make you miserable and perform more poorly. If a suit does that for you, great. If you don’t wear a suit everyday and you wear a suit in the interview, it will show, and not in a good way.
