The external website has generic job descriptions, but we are usually hiring for all positions. Let me know via direct message if you want a referral or interested in working in a particular domain. I know we have a few engineering positions in mountain view and Seattle and several in HQ. Also looking for SRE positions in NY. Cant refer new grads. They have a different process.
This is not how referral works! You should only refer people you know, you are not helping, only being selfish. Let's be honest, be referred won't increase your chance to be hired, it will only give $X,XXX to OP
Former Dropboxer here. That’s literally why we have (or at least had) multiple levels of referral, that have corresponding referral bonuses. You can say “I don’t know this person or anything about their work” and still refer them. Don’t be a dick to other Dropboxers
And as you know, the "Social" level doesn't give more chance to the candidate. I really doubt OP will note "met on Blind". So the purpose of this post isn't to help candidates but to receive a big check without effort.
What are some interesting teams projects going on at dbx right now?
How are SRE’s viewed at dropbox compared to SWE?
Until recently I wouldn't have known who were SRE and who were SWE (my team doesn't have SRE). There's a push to build an SRE identity and culture now and they're hiring SRE like mad.
Sinking ship
What is difference between dropbox products vs google drive, google photos, Flickr photos, amazon s3 at some extent.
Dropbox is not just storage. Most of our customers use dropbox and paper for collaboration .
I am hiring .. so I am not getting any referral bonus.. , notpanda! I am just expanding my search
Are you still open to referrals??
Are you still hiring?
Infrastructure
Hey dropper! Is this still available?!
Anything in Austin?
The Austin office only has sales, recruiting and Customer experience. No engineers (except for the few in CX). I can’t say enough good things about that office though. Unquestionably the best food of any Tuck Shop, don’t let any SF’ers tell you any different!
