Dual monitor vs Ultrawide for development

Do you guys at Amazon use dual 27" monitors or a single 34" ultrawide? Assuming that most of my development will be done on an ec2 instance, would the 34" allow for maximum VNC real estate?

Use 2 27" portrait mode. Max lines of code visible without scrolling.

I'm personally not a fan of portrait mode. Current setup is dual monitor + laptop screen. The only downside is that I use a virtual dev machine and it can only be maximized on a single monitor.

Virtual machine = vnc or RDP?

2 is always better than one πŸ˜‰

Really? In some context it’s actually worse. And in those same contexts bigger would be better πŸ˜‰
