Any top reasons for NOT buying a house in Dublin/Pleasanton/San Ramon area? 1. One reason is commute to San Jose area.
So other than Fremont I do not see any better place to commute to any company in the Bay Area.
What do you mean ? What about Sunnyvale / Santa Clara / San Jose ?
I mean which place in Bay Area is the best one to commute to any company in The Bay Area? I am not in Bay Area yet, but looking at the map I see that Fremont is the best place to live as it’s proximity is reasonable to all locations in Bay Area.
I grew up there, good place for families. Commute to SF is still bad, but Bart makes it OKish.
It's generally quite boring and HOT. Source: parents live in Trivalley Area. The commute to anywhere sucks unless you're at Workday or some local megacorp on an antiquated tech stack like Chevron. If you have to commute to SF, the parking lots at BART stations fill early and evening eastbound trains are PACKED. San Jose or Peninsula are awful drives and lack even feasible (much less decent) public transit options.
These are the reasons preventing me from making a decision to move to Dublin, a city I like and see my family grow into. My concern is only the commute to SF.
Please Suggest me the best place in Bay Area which has best schools and affordable rents (<$3500), clean rental homes and which is at a reasonable commute time to any company in Bay Area?
Which company do you want to commute to ? Menlo Park / Palo Alto are good spots... $3500 gets you a studio though.
Lol "I want everything with no tradeoffs on price, convenience, or quality of life"
Peninsula
It's crazy far away and not the peninsula
Coastal weather is generally more temperate as well. Dublin is 101 degrees right now
I live out there currently. DM me for specifics. Commute the only real hesitation with moving out there. It checks off every single box we wanted except commute. Can’t have it all.
OP if you're not in Bay Area yet, why don't you move here and feel the traffic by yourself
1. Commute 2. Commute 3. See above
