Dumb Co-Workers
How do you guys deal with dumb coworkers ? I work for a business unit and I feel like half of my colleagues are technically and analytically dumb but still surviving in company. Making them understand technology or logic or to get work done from them is such a pain. They hire people even if you reject them and expect you to get work done from them.
Leaving is your option
I know.. my H1B will expire in next 20 months.. can’t leave. Have to get i140 done which is not even started.
20 months is enough to get a few calls. I think after 16 a lot of the companies won’t consider

It’s better to be below average working with smart colleagues
Tech is competitive. If you are obviously below average and look dumber than most, you will be fired soon.
I wish I knew how the non-dumb deal with me. Then I could really muck things up.
I’m leaving Disney precisely for this reason. Too many non-Engineers in roles meant for Engineers.
