Hi Everyone! I got this offer and feel that it’s pretty low ball, but maybe I’m confused about how levels work at Intel.
I thought I would at least get grade 6, but they offered me grade 5.
Base: $94k
RSU: $18k over 3 years (soooo low!!)
Sign on: $18k
Projected bonuses: was roughly $9k?
TC: $109k without sign on
Current TC: $115k (San Diego)
YOE: 2
Any feedback on the offer would be appreciated!
Edit 1: I only have a BS degree (EE & Physics)
Edit 2: Intel came back with this:
They changed the offer from G5 to G6.
Base: $113k
RSU: $38k over 3 years (still low to me…I have $60k unvested with Qualcomm.
Sign on: $25k
Projected bonuses: ~ $10k
Projected TC without Hiring Bonus: $136k
Current TC: $115k (last year, will be a little more this year due to most RSU vesting…maybe $125k)
