Worked at a NY startup and discovered the quality of engineers is so mediocre, I had to quit in week 2 ! My mistake: Missed the red flag of minimal tech due diligence.

15 yoe, worked at multi B$ non-FANG.

Looking for senior roles, good WLB, good quality engineering teams and non-FANG (no energy to leetcode). Zero WFH does not work for me.

Oh blind community, please help with suggestions.

      It is a stealth mode startup. O'course, - not generalising my experience to all startups.

  • What do you mean by, "no energy to leetcode"? It's not just FANG that ask complex technical coding questions in interviews.

      I can clear most coding rounds without prep: Dynamic prog, greedy, etc.

      Only, not looking for leetcode hard type interviews. Fundamentally, I believe the performance in these type of interviews is not correlated with performance on the job. So, not keen on cramming up A* and Dijkstras for interviews.

      In any case, my focus is on leadership positions.
