Dying companies with bleak future?

Lets stock up. Which companies do you think are on a decline and will probably not revive, pretty much like last 7-10 yrs that Yahoo saw before its demise.
I will start with Oracle, Cisco, Intel, SAP?

As long as something about it lasts, that’d be good.

      That's where the money is...

Why the need to dig up a 6 week old post? Gotta defend your honor or you on the clock?

Surprised by the Intel mention, what are your thoughts on that one?

And the news broke yesterday/today that Apple is going to start using its own chips by 2020.

Very sad indeed. It is true. As of last week, engg. talent is gone, product managers have left (good riddance), and there's a Trump-style spin of reality within the company. Of course, not a safe place to work, rampant abuse that goes undetected by impotent HR and C-level folks.

IBM. Agism scandal + massive layoff on their "innovation" department. They been walking dead for years though.

^ agreed. If you delegate away all the responsibility of innovation to a department, innovation is not embedded in your company culture

Agreed on Airbnb, once people started using it as a way to make money off of spare property, a lot of the heat and soul of it died. Now you might as well just do a hotel, which have gotten cooler in many instances.

👆My last Airbnb experience was clearly a property bought solely for that. No soul. Just IKEA cheap.

Have stayed in boutique hotels since.
