Currently finishing up my last sem of college. (No - didn't get a return offer from Fb. I'm not considering going from Fb->Splunk. Just wanted to get that out of the way lol.)
I got a referral. A recruiter reached out about a role with a very specific team and scheduled a pre-screen. After that screen, he said he's gonna send me a code challenge but instead I got an invite for a technical interview with a "hiring manager". But when the call was scheduled, it turned out to be with a Senior Engineer. The call went pretty well. Was asked a Leetcode easy, got it instantly, and was then asked to solve it in one pass, etc. Based on his description of the team's work, I felt and expressed that I'd be fairly compatible.
That interview was on Thursday. Followed up with the recruiter right after. Haven't heard anything yet. What next steps can I potentially expect (assuming I've not already been rejected)? Anyone at Splunk happens to have an idea?

so far its been referral -> call with recruiter -> interview with senior engineer (just one leetcode easy + talking about the team) -> interview with hiring manager (scheduled)
