E-Scooter/E-Bike Commuters, any suggestions for a vehicle that works well on steep hills?

I'm moving to SF after 2 years of commuting from the South Bay. I'm going to be living in Potrero Hill, and my work place is close enough that taking Uber is Overkill, bus takes longer than walking, but walking is still a bit of a trek. I'm considering getting a personal EV for my daily commute, anyone have a suggestion for a kick scooter (or ebike) that might be able to handle steep hills?
