Is there anyone non-PhD (may be Masters) candidate who filed and got EB1 A/B approved (not looking for EB1C)? Can you please let me know which all things you put on your application? If from MSFT, which team helped you? Does having only patent registered on your name helps or you must have many papers and citations? any other helpful info about these categories?

I know of people with Bachelors too who got it , but it’s indeed very difficult. Agree with the previous reply - they have made the adjudication much tougher in past couple of years. Now you need a very strong case for approval
very strong case as in PhD with many published papers?
Yes, high # of citations if PhD. If not Phd something comparable , like high flying entrepreneur - say if you have raised millions of dollars, and are in a critical role like C*O etc
As a data point I have a masters from a top 5 university, published 4 papers in grad school. ~400 citations. Spoke to two top lawyers regarding possibility of eb1 (thanks country caps!!), they said with current process unlikely to get approval. Told me to go back and finish phd.
Did you speak to VChen ?
Yup. She told me unlikely and would not recommend.
It’s very hard to get approval from USCIS now a days. They increased the scrutiny. Phd with citations is required recently since there is lot of fakes profiles are applying for the same visa.
thanks
