EB1C and EB2 Processing times?
Need help on understanding processing times for EB1 and EB2 category for below milestones? 1. I140 (I heard its around 9-12 months under EB2, but not sure about EB1) 2. EAD for spouse 3. Green card My application isnt filed yet but would be filed soon. Any insights would be of great help.
do you qualify for eb1? are you a people manager and were you a manager back home before moving to the US? do you have sufficient academic credentials. companies will promise anything just to be able to nickel and dime you. be sure you can get eb1 i140 approved
If u are Indian, the only purpose of applying for GC is for immigration status in US, not really to get a GC. If you do eb1, the wait is 5 years+. EAD for spouse - you can get this via h4 EAD, but the government has been planning (for a year) to get rid of it. Eb2 is a joke, in effect a denial for you because of your country of birth. Most numbers say it's around 70 years, but after 5 years wait, the line for eb3 and eb2 are same - so it doesn't matter, you will die before you can get GC. Sorry bro, you should be punished for being born in a wrong country. It doesn't matter whether you have as much skill as anyone else on the line, we will punish you. While you wait on this never ending line, some one from RoW will be born tomorrow morning, go to school, complete education, come to US and still be ahead of you on the line - only because of their country of birth. Wait for RoW to defend this privilege as if country of birth is a skill.
Are you Indian? I140 takes around 1 year + . With approved I140, you can get EAD card for spouse (though it might change soon). GC wait time for EB 2 is indefinite for Indians. Its something in the range of 30-90 years for Indians. For EB1, its around 2-3 years. Non Indians/Chinese have no wait time
