EM roles at second rung companies

Seeing figures on Blind, TC for EMs in FAANG and like are in the range of around 350-500K. I have been trying for an EM role in the above, but being largely screened even before the interview stage. This could be due to the fact that I am from the Financial sector, and work on complicated but proprietary non-web-scale systems. As a second option, I am considering aiming for second rung companies. What are some of the good second rung companies for Engineering Manager role ?What might be the corresponding TC ?
