Just noticed ETC price mismatch in my RH and Coinbase accounts. Below are the snapshots i just took from RH and CB. Has anyone also encountered this. Am I missing something here. #blockchain #crypto #ETC #etherclassic
If you are able to buy transfer sell while the price still reflects that and make money after fees you can use it as an arbitrage opportunity and help equalize the markets.
Not sure why they would be the same, they are different exchanges. Arb if you are bold.
Welcome to how Coinbase makes huge margins - they’ve been known to do this for a while
I’m not sure you understand how trading works
Well aware. https://twitter.com/sbf_alameda/status/1348966974995329028?s=21
Different exchanges, different prices. It’s a known thing.
RH wont let you withdraw/transfer.. so no chance of arbitration.. Thats what I hate about RH, if they don’t follow the global price of commodities they can screw anyone.. Lets say someone bought 1M of ETC on RH at 7$, he/she cant sell at 9$ global price coz RH wont let them!
Not your keys, not your coins.
Seems they are going to support it in near future. https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/cryptocurrency-transfers-and-deposits/
ETC only pumped on coinbase. Take a look at all other exchanges and it was less then $10 when ETC was $15 on coinbase. The price is that high because people aren't able to transfer. If people could transfer the price would drop in seconds.
This make sense
Noticed the same
