EY H1-B filing policy & I-140

If you are hired in EY (US) for a consulting role, your H1-B would be filed from EY for 3 years OR on the basis of the duration of your role in a particular project? Do they file green card, if so, after how much duration from the time they hire you?

It's a loaded bullet. Usually they start after you complete 1 year of service or if your offer stipulated immediate start then immediately. Once they do start the process it's excruciatingly slow and painful. But compared to other firms EY Law in my experience does a good job (approval rate is ~93%).

3 years as long as you are under the max limit. It does happen that shorter duration approvals are given but it's quite rare, and I personally have not heard that in IT advisory teams.

Great! Thanks again. So once you are hired they initiate the process and is it independent of the project or you should be in a project to the things started?

Depends of the practice and your position. For tax your need to be a manager and have 2 years
