Based on my interview experience with all except Netflix, I would rank as follows in ascending order of difficulty: 1) Apple 2) Amazon 3) FB 4) Google What do y’all think? Additonal question: Do you think pay is proportional to interview difficulty?
Netflix
It’s really a lottery
Like others said, it's a lottery. It's a fuckin lottery.
Lmao it doesnt feel like a lottery when you know the answer to every LC by heart
And this is the sad thing. They claim it’s about evaluating your thought process but it’s not. They care to see the right answer and only the right answer. A candidate has a heavy advantage if they’ve effectively memorized all the well known questions asked. Any non trivial question (medium or hard) requires thought and careful analysis. Coding up a quick solution is just regurgitating and acting on muscle memory.
I don't think memorizing that much code is possible. Also the interview questions might be original, not from lc
Why the fuck is 'FAANG' still a thing?
Apple is not in same league by virtually any measure. Amazon does very decent interview process at least for senior roles. FB and Goog are similar and random. I know too many cases where candidates would get one but not the other in either order.
Amazon
Google is the easiest.
Dude make a poll, wtf

Please elaborate. I hadn’t applied to other FANGs in over 8 years. Are you saying it pretty much boils down to which LC question you get and how familiar you are with it?
