Can you share experience upgrading from eb2 to eb1 ? PhD / publication / past managerial experience , which one was effective .? What if one has nothing of the above list ? Instead of waiting endless time for eb2 should we make an effort for eb1 ? Considering PhD ( 8-10 yrs ) + publications is still a faster route ? What are the options? #perm #h1b
Exploring EB1A on Google is better than asking Blind, there is ample material. Phd makes things way easier, but I know of multiple people who got it with Bachelors/Masters
Can you share some more concrete details?
There is really lot of information online. You need three out of 10 criteria, please look at the analysis of the 10 criteria. Phd helps in some of the criteria, as publications etc are part of a Phd program.
I love how everyone just assumes that EB2 wait time is long. Like there is a default nationality in Blind!
Isn't it the other way around. When someone complains about ridiculous wait for EB2 to the extent of asking if putting 8-10 years on a new degree just to escape, there is only assumption to make there. I mean, has to be one easiest deduction games out there.
Yes, eb1c is the only way to go forward. Especially for a eb2. It's easy to cut the line because of the pd portability rule. Let's say you got your pd locked in 2013 then become a manager and port that over to eb1c and immediately get your gc. Most people do this. That's why eb1 will never go to current
PhD for the sake of EB1 isn't worth it. Instead put effort to maximize TC, hence savings and then can jump to EB5 and be wealthy too
Or invest time in finding a citizen and marry the person
How much wealth for EB5?
