The answer is that if you're a genius it doesn't matter what company you go to, you'll always be a top performer and be treated well.
Even Amazon gives decent refreshers to their top band in performance review.
I know someone who refuses to get out of bed for a job unless the codebase is Rust, Haskell or c# (I think Elixir, Clojure and Nim are on the list as well???).
If you're a genius you can swing that.
Most people don't use it because the .net ecosystem is bad, not because of the syntax/design.
Have you ever worked with databases in leetcode?
Forget that, have you ever used leetcode to do front end engineering?
There is a lot of things that leetcode don't help you with other than optimizing a monolithic code base for time and memory. Real engineering is waaay more than that.
A competitive programmer is not going to be the best engineer. I know good competitive programmers who struggle on the job.
