Have you started to contribute towards an education fund for your kid/s? If Yes when did you start and which fund? What is the target to achieve here? Rising costs!
Yes. I use the Michigan 529 plan. Seemed to me the best combination of performance, fees, and a high cap for contributions. Right now aiming for at least 300k but more likely 400k or so as a final number. Started it for my daughter when she was about 1 year old. If she doesn't use it, her kids can or any other family members can. I expect her to get a masters, so consider that cost as well.
