So I was interviewing at Bird and I unfortunately had food poisoning but couldn't reschedule as I already had to reschedule once.

I accidentally loudly farted during the interview and it smelled awful. The interviewer seemed really uncomfortable but other than that the interview went flawlessly.

Do I still have a shot?

At this point I would try to fart with every remaining interviewer, that way they can’t ding you for inconsistency.

Oh my god! Personally no! I remembered one manager kept on hiccuping and eventually silently burping next to me in meeting. It was my first experience with him; I don’t want to even talk to guy again due to smells I was exposed to. This is me being shallow but I have attended so many post interview meetings and heard so many people getting hung up on small stuff candidates did....I think not fair but if you are not a super candidate, that interviewer will sway towards a no as an instinct.

So, are you supposed to stop mid of a problem and light a match out of nowhere? That would be worse than farting alone.

@meme1, it is a part of my creative process when I’m in the zone. I merge with the flow of life and my thoughts cease.
