Metrics and Consistent Reporting

Does anyone else have issues with getting clean, consistent metric data as an employee? I think our BI team needs a total overhaul, but our reports are either outdated, unable to be reproduced, or just flat out incorrect.
I find it hard to believe larger companies cannot factually and irrefutably measure employee productivity.
