I talked to my Google recruiter about potentially getting upleveled from L4 to L5. They said they need to talk to the hiring manager.
Is it ok if I email the hiring manager and ask what I should do to be considered for L5? Or should I wait for recruiter to get back to me?
I have an L6 offer from Amazon.
