Was put on a PIP at Apple many years ago, seemed like I would have beat it but left anyway, because I hated my manager and it was a bad situation. Now Apple is offering me a different position, made it to final round and pretty confident I’ll get an offer, as the role is really specific to my skills. But I want to know if I’m even eligible for rehire? Am surprised it hasn’t come up yet already. Don’t lecture me, just share if you know the answer, thanks.
There is a PIP in apple ?
clearly you’re new here
What about eligible to rehire at amazon ?
HM will get your prior ratings, will be a hit or a miss after that. You might want to be open about it with HM so that they have your side of story as well.
No
Is PIP common at Apple just like Amazon??
I don't think Apple has any restrictions like that, especially if you're way above the cool off period, and return to a different VP, too. I think if it's the same VP, it could be a problem.
I saw pips return. Years later but they did return when someone vouched for them.
