I had my Google onsite on Monday. I received a meeting invitation from my recruiter this morning that - "I have an update for you. Can we jump on a call to chat later today? :)" Feeling quite anxious because I read on blind that if feedback is positive, they get sudden call from recruiter and get email invites only on negative. On the other hand, my onsite went decent so I don't personally feel that they may be just rejecting me in 3 days. What do people who interviewed with Google earlier think? For more info, till yesterday recruiter told me things look positive but she is awaiting feedback from 1 or more interviewer #Google #amazon #Microsoft Update - Moving on to team matching and HC
There is a smiley face at end of the question, she is asking if she can call you. I don’t see anything negative, stay positive.
Yes banking on that
Sorry dude Mine was rejection with a sudden call It's hard I know but move forward
My recruiter emailed me and asked when I was available for a call, but also said he had all my feedback and it looked positive in that same email
My recruiter told me yesterday that things look positive so far but she is awaiting feedback from 1 or more interviewer. My recruiter just sent me a happy smiley on this email. Based on these 2 things, I feel like maybe moving forward.
Seems like it; good luck getting through HC and match!
Update us after call
My recruiter specially said “I have good news to share”. They’re all different though
When’s the call?
Before evening. Don't want to share exact time.
It's been a week since I had mine and haven’t heard anything. Do they always contact you in the event of a rejection?
Either rejection which is unlikely if recruiter said feedback was positive till now or that your packet will go to team matching or hiring committee . Recruiter will probably ask for more information like updated resume, details around previous experience etc.
Does team match before HC always is a bad sign? My recruiter initially suggested HC and team match in parallel. She then asked where I am with other companies and I told her G was my first onsite and my other onsites are from 16th, she said that to go for team match first which will strengthen my case for l4 position. I asked her if I got any NH or NLH, she told me she can't tell me rating details but feedback looks "really positive" and she thinks I am strong case for HC. Based on what I read on blind, strong cases go directly to HC but then why is my recruiter using good in superlatives and trying to hide if I am borderline. So confused. She sent me an email with subject line "Team matching/ leadership review" asking for dates next week as well updated resume, previous work ex, education, etc.
Don't think too much @Amazon. I have my onsites in a week and the recruiter told me she would do team match before HC if I have a positive feedback. All the best, I hope you get L4 and don't be nervous, you've already made it so far where not many do. On a side-note, can I DM you to get some tips?
I got Google offer with unscheduled call last week. My recruiter also emailed before that saying signal is strong for me to push out competing offer’s deadline. I think the scheduled call can mean either way! Wish you best of luck!
Same case and mine was a rejection
You had a smiley face?
Yes did you have smiley face? I would think smiley would indicate happy news, no?
