Can someone help me understand how the employee levels are structured at Barclays? Is the level negotiable? Salary info is also a plus!
Assuming investment banking, I thought offers were non negotiable if you’re straight out of school?
Probably lateraling if there is ambiguity, I would guess
In operations base out of school starts at 60 you could negotiate slightly but we get paid ot at Barclays so depending on your group you can make 6 figures but depends on group.. bonus in ops isn’t a bonus it’s crap
It I’ve heard 85 base analyst no ot though and slightly better bonus than ops
Investment banking front office levels are Analyst, Associate, Vice President, Director, Managing Director. If you are asking about operations, finance, risk etc then it could be different.

What group/job are you asking for at Barclays? It’s going to vary depending on what that is. Same goes for salary. As a further point, those will be pretty similar within the same career/job across banks. So, for example, at virtually every investment bank, the progression will be analyst, associate, Vice President, Director, managing director, and then some variety for group heads or other very high level titles. Comp will be similar there too (especially at the lower levels) - about $85k base and [50-60] bonus for first year investment banking analyst
