Employer matching more than 4% for 401K
My employer match is higher than 4% of my base salary for this year. Is this a mistake? PayPal only matches 4% of base.

If youโre making under $100k then your match should be extra 2%

1bunny Dec 7, 2019You would need to read your plan documents as each plan is somewhat unique. It could be they also matched on variable comp or they can add in an extra match based on how the company is doing.
