I've recently been given an offer and was told that I'm being hired as a Grade 12 engineer. Could someone give me an idea of where that is in the internal scale? What would be expected of a Grade 12?
Why don't you ask the recruiter or HM
Twelve seems low for a "senior engineer?"
Senior engineer title starts at 11, check your workday.
Good equity benefits kicks in from Grade 13 (Principal Engineer). Again, getting promoted from 12 to 13 is not easy. You have to prove for 1-2 years min consistently and also depends on your experience. Btw, what’s the offer?
Working from a Montreal office: Base salary 98k 22k equity over 3 years
You can ask for more base & RSU. There’s potential.
I'm also interviewing for a job at Autodesk, what are the grades? I'm interviewing for a senior software architect position
That’s probably Grade 15. Ask your recruiter. What are you looking for? What do you wanna know more?
I'm trying to understand the seniority of the position I have 12 years experience and trying to understand if the the job description is backed by the appropriate grade
It’s the “senior engineer with equity” level.
