I think the job varies per org but I’ve seen them tackle logistics mostly. Various materials are required to build a product and assembly happens at different places and their job is to organize, track and ensure shipping and delivery. It’s a non technical but very detailed oriented job. There’s probably more to it as well than I’m aware of.
I am also interested in hearing what an EPS does at Apple.
