How’s the engineering at Qualtrics? How are the internal processes, tools? Is it worth moving to? P.S: Anyone willing to refer? :-)
I'm on the outside but I've heard SAP wasn't too pleased about ROI on Qualtrics according to some friends in Seattle. Overall, I've heard good things about WLB though negative things about TC.
From Amazon I would aim for G or F
I would any day take Amazon from my current role so I may be biased. Getting into Amazon is really hard at least that is my experience. I earn 200k where I am and will happily give up up to 10% for Amazon.
Amazon is random. Sorry you didn’t get hired.
My company would take an Amazon engineer with just a wishy washy interview and pay 300k easily.. but I would not do that because future opportunities are better At Amazon. F or G will not even call me for phone screen whereas you can easily get interviews with them. That is more valuable than small Pay differences - at least that is my opinion.
Working at those companies can be overrated. Amazon guy/girl may not pass interview even given the chance so not missing much. Hold chin up
Speaking of which, how is Zume? Got a few recruiter pings
Engineering might not be top notch at Q, but you have opportunity to make it one.
Zume - is in a rough patch now.. I would stay on the sidelines to see how it pans out in next few months before jumping aboard. Read the news from the media to see the direction we are headed.
You realize Qualtrics is SAP right?
Yes, but I heard that the acquisition did not change the Qualtrics processes?
May be but from my 3rd person perspective Amazon to SAP sounds like a step down. The autonomy is not guaranteed and in enterprise software integration of brands is often the norm and is a matter of time. I would think twice.
