Hi, I recently entered US with my GC and was surprised to find that GC holders were clubbed with visitor/h1 visa holders for the immigration interview. It wasn't the case last year at SFO. Has the rules changed since last year? Is it everywhere or only in SFO? I felt this was one of the perks of having GC and I had to wait in queue for an hour. I know it is a first world problem but still it can save a lot of time at the port of entry. Anyone observed similar behavior?
Depends on entry airport
Same line for sfo
Depends entry/airport. GC has been in separate line.
Get Nexus or Global Entry
Haha, fun times
The situation for green card holders is going to get more hostile. If you can apply for citizenship I would start the process.
Why do you think it'll get hostile?
I can start next year and I plan to do it as soon as I'm eligible. I don't disagree with the difficulty in getting citizenship comment.
Spending the money on global entry is definitely worth it.

Not sure about sfo but I thought most airports have citizens and green cards in the same line?
Yeah. That's what I thought but in SF, They had visitors and GC holders in the same line.
