Diverse companies are more profitable. Companies aren't embracing diversity hiring because it's the right thing to do, it's because it will make more money, plain and simple.

Most tech companies will give more opportunities to minorities, but the hiring bar is still the same. Moral of the story: stock to tech companies, don't wash up at banks, financial institutions, or government jobs.
How does the "more oppo" come if hiring bar is not lowered?
They recruit in places that have higher demographics of the minority they want. They start the process with more people from minority groups. The interview questions are all the same though. You still go through multiple rounds. If you can't leet code no one cares what group you're from. This is what I know about companies that are relevant.
