Hi there,
I am a Product Manager, my products are CPUs.
I was just wondering how Product Management for Silicon/CPU/GPU/SoC works in vertically integrated companies. Who sets the the performance/power/area targets for Apple SoCs? Do they have product manager for silicon even if it is not a product they sell?

So the technical leaders do this... that makes sense, they dont have to worry too much about marketing requirements (A15 launched with virtually no CPU perf uplift claims, even if they deliver nice improvements in SPEC)
