However if you did this 2-3 years ago with your amazon stock, you’d be a very sad man right now, so who knows - think about your risk tolerance etc I guess
Acorns is a nice idea, it's just expensive when you consider the fee. Also it doesn't save all that much.
You're better off just picking a dollar amount each month that you take out of your account and invest.
Note that if your employer matches 401k you should contribute to that before anything else.
