Hi I have 2 offers:
Red Hat (Remote)
[Software Engineer] - 130k base, 20k starting bonus, 10% bonus yearly
tc ~ 163k first year, 143k yearly after that
JP Morgan (Jersey City, NJ)
[Software Engineer (Sr. Associate level)] - 140k base, 20k yearly bonus
tc ~ 160k
Not sure which offer to take. Can anyone working at JP Morgan tell me how the engineering culture is? Is there a lot of learning opportunity for tech at a bank? How is wlb? Any fear of pip?
Likewise can anyone working at Red Hat give me insight into the same questions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
current role/tc - Contract Python Developer (120k)
