https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-03-05/evercore-ceo-in-palm-beach-give-green-cards-with-u-s-degrees?ch=99&share=b6dc552a America should extend green cards to every foreign student who earns a college degree in the U.S., said Evercore Inc. Chief Executive Officer Ralph Schlosstein, arguing that immigrants provide a critical competitive advantage for the economy.
Keeping it only to MS and PhD where there is a shortage of demand makes total sense. 65K should be devoted for that and 20k for rest of the population.
An undergrad from MIT is worth more than a master's from some online school. I'd rather restrict it to top schools instead of degree levels.
Good point. Sponsorship pretty much applies to MS and PhD today compared to TDH coming from outsourcing companies today. Moving the 65k quota to educated in the US as opposed to Genera quota I guess would make sense.
It's all virtue signalling. Just ignore and move on. These are the exact people who will lobby to keep the decades long queues. It's unfortunate none of us get this.

We would need to become tougher on accrediting schools to close the degree mills, otherwise not a bad plan.
