Ex-Cerner who switched to another company, what is your experience?

For whom were ex-Cerner employees and switched jobs, what did you like (or dislike) more about your new job/culture aside from having better compensation?

An area with 2M isn’t the middle of nowhere, but driving by Cerner on Saturday, and seeing the parking lot full; screw that.

When/where did you work? I’ve never seen this in my time at Cerner. Most I’ve seen is a few cars of people going to the gym or pool.

Never worked there, just drove by the one on Bannister, seeing way to many cars on a Saturday. Knew an H1B there, and they worked him hard until they did not renew his visa.

Cerner was real shit , it terms of comp, in terms or work, in terms of career growth. Everything is better outside cerner

Why? Can you be more specific?

Was awesome. I'm glad that I'm off Cerner.

Me too, as an immigrant, no growth is killing me.

Quitting Cerner was the best thing I did (regret I overstayed). Earning 3x in a similar COL area (not in Boston) in an year leaving Cerner. Not just $$$, Cerner is pretty legacy, typically midwest company. Look at diversity on leadership and you’ll get the answer :)
