What is max pay for people manager at T-Mobile?

Currently an L08 at $140k base, $10k RSU, 15% bonus. Brings TC to about $170k, 6 YOE, Bellevue based. I’m told this is already at the tippy-top, not sure what they would do next year come comp time. #tmobile

How long have you been there? I just accepted a L9 analyst role for 90 base. 3yoe. Recruiter told me role opened up at 70k and we met at 90.. Is that how big the gap is from L9-8 at Tmo?

    • That’s an important piece of information missing from the post considering this app leans heavily into software engineering. I recommend to look around at marketing salary threads to get a better idea of what’s possible but this does not sound bad for 6 YOE in the Seattle area considering you’re on the creative side.

It really depends on the role, group and area. People manager for Software Development pays higher in Seattle and even higher if you are under engineering or product groups. 200k base, 10k RSU annually, 15%-20% effective annual performance bonus, 3-5% annual merit increase, 4-12% additional increase for select performers.

  • Why does everyone ask these kind of obvious questions, the only option you have is interviewing outside and getting an offer. If you’re good enough you’ll make 2-3X, if you’re not then 170K is all you get.

  • T-mobile is not FAANG. It’s normal comp for what it is.
