What's your gender? I ask because I've only seen 1 male ea/aa ever.

Do you know someone in fb making that much as an EA? Also they do not get stock options?

Facebook Pwndn Nov 15, 2020

EA's get RSU's as well at FB

Facebook tsktsk1 Oct 16, 2020

90k hourly base, 10% bonus minimum - goes up based on performance, lots of overtime opportunities

Are you an EA at FB?

Seems low for NYC. I would ask for 120K+ bonus. It’s a small cost to get the right person who knows what they are doing.

Amazon awsamz Nov 13, 2020

That does seem low. My EA in Seattle has a $120k total comp

You seem to have big title. Do you mind sharing your title/ TC breakdown?

Is your EA an L4?

KeepTruckin funnyuser Nov 14, 2020

FB historically pays low base comp unless you support a Core member. I have a couple Sr. EA friends who work at FB in Menlo Park and they make $90-110k base. The only good thing about that low comp base is they're hourly so they get OT.

I'm a current EA at FB. I'm in the Bay Area and make $96k hourly base, a 10% bonus per half (based on earnings for that half), and RSU's. With OT (avg 50 hours in wfh, down from 60 hours in reg times), plus equity, bonus, incentives and 2 COVID related payouts totaling $2k (when taxed down to $650), I made $158k in 2020. I'm an IC4 which is the standard for experienced non-sr leader support leveling, although many EAs get under leveled when the sign on as an IC3, and it's VERY hard to get promoted to an IC5. Also ps culture is shitting the bed quickly, the admin program is rapidly getting siloed and they are doing some weird stuff with our performance reviews and support levels. Not every admin org is toxic, but there are some that are pretty intensely so and it's surprising when the company narrative is "be authentic you", and "open and welcome feedback". Not the case for me at all and wouldn't recommend to EAs that are looking to dive into culture or strategic initiatives. It's rough!
