Expedia Sr Product Manager compensation

Expedia has reached out to me for a Sr PM position. I already have an offer from Microsoft Azure with TC 234k(160 base, 200 stock, 15% target bonus) and another 45k in sign on bonus(25 year 1 and 20 year 2). This is for L 63 My question is - can expedia match the offer? It would be very helpful if folks who have recently received an expedia offer would post their comp. Blind does not have a lot of posts about expedia.

Expedia will not pay as much as msft does.. last year they offered me 190 tc for a senior role and I asked them to eff off

The base and the bonus % should be able to be matched or come close to. Stock would be completely dependent year to year on performance. Sign on bonus I can't speak to as it's been awhile since I joined.

Thank you. I am not too sure abt the team yet. So what all the posts above are telling me is that i can hope for a max of 185 per year. It may not be worth spending any time on expedia.

Base 160, 15% bonus would be 185. That's at what MS azure is offering. Where expedia may fall short and I can't answer is the sign on and stock. The stock could be there dependent on annual performance over time. Like I said, the team would be the determining factor for me.

@sip - Stock in Expedia is purely based on the management perception about your performance. If you are new or change teams dont expect anything for a couple of years. Also career progression beyond Sr is a dead end. Have been a sr for 5 years and looking out. Between Azure and Expedia, it should be easy to decide. TC is around 180k ish.

Thank you for the feedback. This i very helpful. I did not know that Expedia does not offer on hire stock(the stock that vests over 4 years). As a side note, microsoft offers refresher stock every year. The target for my level is 17 k(vested over 5 years). I did not consider that in the tc and that should equate to the stock at expedia. Thanks again!!

Expedia pay targets 50 percentile, don't waste your time. MS or stay at Amazon.

No stocks/refreshers or full bonus all the time. Base can be closer though. Did you not ask HR? Please tell them you are not joining because of the comp difference

Thank you. I told the recruiter that i have accepted another opportunity and would like to stay in touch. Out of curiosity, it seems that the target comp at Expedia is only the base salary?
